In this piano tutorial video, Michael Emmerson from Fast Track Keys plays and produces Jesper Kyd's Assassins Creed soundtrack theme "Ezios Family in just 2 minutes. He shows all the individual layers and MIDI parts that you can use to create the full sound of the original theme music. This includes the main melody, choir, string section, guitar, piano part and more. He also shows you which VST plug-ins he used to reproduce this hit soundtrack for the famous video game series Assassins Creed.
Michael starts by playing the main melody in the right hand with a piano arpeggio in the left hand part. He then uses 8dio's Insolidus choir and Hollywood strings/Spitifre Albion V to add more layers before adding the iconic dulcimer sound famous with the video game series.
Michael uses Logic Pro X and his Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol S88 MK2, plus his 2 ROLI LUMI keys studio editions to produce this cover track, but these methods apply in any DAW as well and you can use any MIDI keyboard. The key is learning how to play the keyboard so you can plug-in the parts with ease, and produce in free flow. You can use any DAW ncluding Ableton Live, Garageband, Cubase, FL Studio and Pro Tools or any other DAW used by music producers.
