In the journey of life, we are each dealt a unique hand. The Buddha says, “I share my wisdom, but destiny is in your hands.” Every choice we make allows us to play a distinctive role in this vast universe. But what if fate hands you a bad hand?
We cannot change the cards given by God, for the die is cast. However, we can choose how to respond to the present and shape the future. It’s a journey with no turning back, only forward.
Every challenge, regardless of success or failure, is an opportunity for growth. Every choice is destiny’s carving. Play your hand well, even if it seems utterly discouraging, find inner strength amidst adversity.
Looking back, I still believe my initial choices were wise. Despite Jason’s life having unforgivable flaws, if life were to start anew, I would still choose him as my love. I am willing to sacrifice for him again, and I would do better. Unfortunately, when I realized this, he was already stuck at the age of 43…
