Overlord 2 is here at last. One of the most successful third-party tools for After Effects has gotten a major upgrade, and now operates independently of Adobe software.
Some of the many new features and quality-of-life improvements include:
• Dependable Linear & Radial Gradient transfer
• Clipping masks become Ae track mattes
• Preservation of parametric rectangles & ellipses
• Support for text on a path
• Ai groups transfer as Ae shape layers
• Split Ai shapes to Ae shape layers with group layer controls
• Transfer guides
• Transfer swatches
There's much more to learn about Overlord 2, and many more features to come. Soon Overlord will be able to transfer from Figma and Photoshop to After Effects, with the potential for supporting other apps in the future.
