"Memories" is based on "Canon in D Major" by German composer Johann Pachelbel. The song was written by Maroon 5's lead singer Adam Levine, Stefan Johnson, Jordan Johnson, Michael Pollack, Jacob Kasher Hindlin, Jon Bellion, and Vincent Ford.
