,,, McCormick-Deering, model "M", 1-1/2 hp, water cooled flywheel engine, with a throttle governor, made by the International Harvester Co,,,,, just one of the ways to remove a stuck gib key,, this one has the gib ground off, so a regular shop type gib key removing tool would be useless in this situation,, but,, it's got to come out of there, so what are you gonna do?,, let's lube it up, a little lube never hurt anything,, we are going to need a welding machine (I use flux core wire), a can of anti spatter spray, a 7/16 bolt (cut to length), nut and washer, some small scrap steel flat plate, adjustable wrench, and a gear puller,,, a hammer (just in case it won't break loose), baling wire,,, that will about do it, so let's get it out of there,,, once I get this gib key out I will remove the crankshaft from the flywheel,, leave a comment, subscribe, pass it on, this is one of three, to be continued,, comments, leave 'em if you got 'em,,,,,
