I recalculated EVERY F1 RACE with Fair Points System to find that the F1 GOAT is ____
I went through every F1 race since 1950 and recalculated the results using a Points System that I think is more fair for all drivers and can help us determine who is the F1 G.O.A.T. and created a dynamic bar chart race with the data.
At the end I calculate average points per race to adjust that some drivers have many more races - especially in modern day.
Familiar F1 drivers top the charts but there are some surprises also - what do you think of the final results, does this system come close to calculating who is the Formula 1 GOAT?
The points system used is this:
P1 = 20 points
P2 = 19 points
P3 = 18 points
P4 = 17 points
P5 = 16 points
P6 = 15 points
P7 = 14 points
P8 = 13 points
P9 = 12 points
P10 = 11 points
P11 = 10 points
P12 = 9 points
P13 = 8 points
P14 = 7 points
P15 = 6 points
P16 = 5 points
P17 = 4 points
P18 = 3 points
P19 = 2 points
P20 = 1 point
