My apartment in Wuxi, China
This is a typical Chinese apartment for teachers from what I've seen. Though it differs greatly depending on your circumstances. This is what you will normally find if the school says they will pay for it. Saying that, this apartment and the utilities were paid for by the school. The apartment did have internet and it ran at about 120kbs and the later it got the faster it went. At this same school some of the teachers had bigger places and some teachers had a room that looked exactly like a crappy hotel room or dorm. Mine was right in the middle.
I was teaching at a high-school during this time and I taught 4 classes: "American Culture", 2 writing classes and 1 speaking class. Each class was 2 times a week and about 50 minutes long. I had loads of time off during the day.
