Hearts of Iron 4 La Resistance Iron Review
A review of La Resistance the new expansion for Hearts of Iron IV.
Although the new features have potential their implementation is lacking both in the interfaces, which can be confusing or overbearing and balancing which is mostly reflected in the rewards you get from using the new mechanics.
The 3 new focuses are a nice addition but are not groundbreaking and should not be the main selling point of this expansion. Core issues of the game are becoming a bigger issue with the decisions interface not being able to contain all the new content, pop up spam now even worse with the new features making sure to block your screen to notify about minor things and monarchies being tied to the non aligned ideology force you to pick between leaders that otherwise would have their own ideologies.
