HOW TO - Sonoff Zigbee 3.0 Dongle Plus in Home Assistant (Flash, Update, Zigbeemqtt & MQTT Broker)
In todays video we are looking at Sonoffs Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus. These dongles are great and come pre flashed with the Z-Stack_3.x.0 firmware and are ready to work straight out of the box.
I would highly reccomend updating the firmware on them though in order to utiise newer features and sto support more connected Zigbee devices.
In this video we are having a look at the Manual method of flashing firmware onto the dongle as well as a quick run through on how to setup the Mosquitto MQTT broker and also Zigbee2MQTT all within Home Assistant. In addition to this I also cover some of the troubleshooting for the dongle not being detected or failing to flash.
