Dual Class Crystals | The Good, Bad & Ugly | Extra 2500 Shards Issue | Marvel Contest of Champions
In This Video: I Try to find some positives from this extra 2500 shards issue.
I do love this being added in but there are some issues to those who cant get good 6 star champs early on, lets dissect this situation.......
Extra Shards Cost ▶ Now in game 6 Star featureds exist and we lose 5k extra 6 star shards In the pursuit of these crystals. Targeting featureds can be good for lots of reasons abilities, prestige, collection, there are champs that fit needs but a lot of the sub featureds do not. Getting champs that at an extra 5k and in this case 2.5k extra risk it makes the investment less worth it.
Also for players lower than Paragon and especially don’t spend you may find it can take you 1-4 months to save up again to have a shot at this.
Access to ▶ debatable whether you should be Thronebreaker and Up as it puts us in a situation of how can you safely Elevate a roster if you cant comfortably target a champ. But I get where players are coming from to
The Pool ▶ the debate around the pool I get and the limited at 6 Star of the pool which means getting something good could be very good but not all champs have been buffed so you could get something really bad.
my response to that is the Wish Crystal and the point of Acquisition.
Non Spending Vs Spending –▶Why is this a point. – 9 months ive been non spending in the game but spent previously. So my roster was given a helping hand to max sigs with 4 Stars
YES there are plenty of places you can get shards I the game but nothing really compares to the leg up a player gets if they buy Cavalier Nexus Dailys, Early access bundles, daily cavs and more. Where it either gives shards or gets you maxing champs.
More Shards around for you to get ▶ Yes if you are willing to grind you can get it, here is a spreadsheet of my Plan of 6 Star grind to do featureds but im Paragon, and for those who are not in as fortunate position to recieve as much could be Cavalier to Thronebreaker who want to elevate rosters.
Acquisition and Buff and Nerf Risk▶
Do you remember my Quest to get a 5 Star Professor X – it took 350,000 5 star shards to get, most champs I pulled at the time had not been buffed and I wont use them. As acquisition isn’t just lets get the imbalanced god tier its about fitting a need of a roster.
There is also the future risk as a player said in the comments of Wednesdays vid, you could get a champ that hasn’t been balanced or is sporting a OP performance that could be balanced. Meaning you Risk your shards on the Luck and the Risk of your Rank up materials on a champ.
Incursion crystals need 6 star versions which would better due to limited pools
Nexus’s are great but are of a larger a pool but can be good and bad.
Wish crystal▶ This solves problems but gives me concern as to how kabam will price it and the cost to get it which will likely be premium cost.
Economy Debate vs Player need Debate ▶ Dual class is the way to get champs 200 sigged faster especially if max sig. I do this in a 5 star format to get max sig crystals. So if you as a spender get the shards quicker, get max sigs faster this is targeting those players.
but inadvertinely punish those who are looking to get to their first good usable 6 star champs.
Final thoughts ▶ is it ruins the feeling around acquisition to investment and would have been nice to see it as 10k or even 11k to meet kabam some where
