How to Disable Pinch Zoom Settings for Windows 10
Problem solutions and steps listed below-
1. If you do not have the "Device Settings Tab": For Acer, Asus, and Lenovo users. (This video was on my HP laptop so that might be why you are having issues)

for those who don't get the grey 'settings ' box without the 'Synaptycs touch pad' displaying anywhere, it's even simpler. I'm on an Acer whether that makes any difference at all. Go to 'settings': the Windows icon on the extreme bottom left on the taskbar. Then select 'devices' then 'mouse and touchpad'. Scroll down almost to the bottom and you will see 'Use two finger pinch to zoom'. Disable it by moving the slider to 'off'.

"For those who don't have the "Device settings tab," in the mouse & touchpad settings, disable "use a 2 finger pinch to zoom." If you have an Asus like me, click ^ on the lower right hand side of the screen, then open Asus smart gesture. Under the "two fingers" column, uncheck zoom/pinch to zoom in and out."

2. If it keeps resetting-
Update windows! I know that just updating fixed the problem with a lot of users. Make sure you have the most recent update before looking into other fixes
Create a profile in synaptic settings.
+Roar Khan suggested "when you Goto synaptic setting- there is "Profile button" click and make a new profile to save turn off pitch
zoom permanently. simply means follow the video instructions but after that make a new profile and save profile and finish rest.

To keep pinch zoom disabled after rebooting on Windows 10 do the following:
1. Open up regedit.exe (open up the "search window" icon and type "regedit")
2. Navigate through the folders to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Synaptics\SynTP\Install
~Note this is LOCAL MACHINE, not CURRENT USER.
3. Look for a key in that Install folder called DeleteUserSettingsOnUpgrade
4.Double click and change the value to 0
5. Now go back to the Synaptics control panel, set everything the way you like, reboot.
This worked for me and many others.

5. Scroll down and click "additional mouse options" under related settings.
6. Double click "Synaptics TouchPad"
7. Uncheck "pinch zoom"
8. Click "Apply"
9. Click "OK"
10. Click "OK"
