then I would have thought that such a fireplace, so familiar to us all, might not be at all what it is given out to be today. It turns out that the antediluvian civilization had technologies inaccessible to modern ones. heating and lighting were provided by atmospheric electricity, and not only that. We now know several types of using free energy, which the remnants of a past civilization used until the beginning of the 20th century.
So - fireplaces are nothing more than a heating device, but by no means wood-burning.
