Python Example 1- Create extra columns on a dataframe- how to analyse stock price change in python?
This is a series of videos where I talk about how I use Python to help me understand the pricing behaviour of an asset. In this video I’ll show you how I use Python to calculate price percentage change across different time windows. Python basics used in this example include:
Import data through Yahoo API
Simple data cleansing
Create a new column on a dataframe
Create multiple columns on a dataframe using FOR LOOP
Store column names in variables using IF STATEMENT
It's by no means the only way to approach this problem but hopefully can help you get started with Python and use it to find insights to some questions you may have, whether be investment or life related in general :)
