Relab was given the challenge of a complete design overhaul for the POLITIX eCommerce website. Our key role was to lead its UI/UX discovery & design execution within a solid framework for seamless consolidation to any enterprise level eCommerce platform.
The design approach was research-led, investing on Discovery, Analysis and Usability Test Cases early. Prototyping exercises since day 1 and high fidelity interactive wireframes sent through (for further testing/evaluation) to a reputable global eCommerce consultant, Practicology. Through consolidated feedback, we carried the process through to responsive visual design, where the brand essence of POLITIX are applied. Working very closely with internal POLITIX stakeholders, we successfully delivered a robust UI/UX framework that was built in Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform by our technology partner, S60.
Our design team was involved constantly on demo testing and quality assurance, followed by quick iteration actions for further improvements. In a full Agile manner, Front End assets were delivered in parallel production to Salesforce Commerce Cloud back end systems.
Upon launch, further scheduled optimisation work and stage releases are done within the course of 12 months, resulting in business KPI targets being met, including:
•158% Online Sales up in the last 1 year (measured in February 2018)
• Online is the 2nd biggest store based on sales ranking
• Mobile owns 60% of traffic and mobile conversion is 109% up in the last 1 year
• Easy & fast checkout resulting in 26% drop-off rate reduction at Checkout
