1. log in to your Gmail account.
2. Go to "Google Account" from the right top corner.
3. It will take you to Google Account Manager
4. Now click on "Data and Personalization" from the left menu.
5. Now Scroll down to find "Download, delete, or make a plan for your account".
Under this option click "Delete a service or your account"
6. Now click on "Delete a Google Service" Now, Enter your password and verify your account.
7. Now click on the Delete icon beside Gmail.
8. Enter an alternate email address that isn't hosted on Gmail, you can put your Yahoo, Hotmail, or your own domain email.
9. Get the verification email on your other email account and hit the confirmation link
10. Check the box "Yes I want to permanently delete this email address". And hit Delete.
11. Now Google will delete your Email address permanently within 2 days.
You will be able to login to other products of Google like YouTube, Google+ using the alternate email address.
