DEMO DAY.... Preparing for LIFTOFF!?!? 🚀
The demo has started on our lake house renovation! But with the lower level being only 6'8" in height we had to come up with a plan first. We ultimately settled on raising the house by about 2ft and extending the foundation height. This meant that we needed to prepare the house to be lifted. We started by completely gutting the lower level while leaving the upper level walls in tact (to help with rigidity when raising). We also needed to excavate the back yard to accommodate the bay window/patio door swap. All that being said, this project is growing quickly and there is no turning back now! Enjoy the show! 😂😬
