Oracle offers a service called Oracle Free Cloud, which lets you set up a free Oracle database.
You can create an account and a database, and connect to it from an IDE on your own computer, such as SQL Developer, to use and practice your SQL.
In this video, you'll learn how to set up an account, create a database, connect to it from SQL Developer, and run some queries.
This process should work on the M1 MacBooks (as the only thing you'll need is an IDE). Other methods of using Oracle on a Mac (Docker, Virtual Machine, Oracle Express) don't work on the M1 MacBook.
