Learn how to change the home icon and homepage URL for Microsoft Edge on Android. The homepage URL helps in quick navigation to any preset page or even to the new tab with the search bar. You can set the Home URL to blog or business web page.
Just like you can change the Search engine in Microsoft Edge, you can also customize and change the homepage URL. The home page is default set to the new tab page which has a search bar and top sites along with news articles.
However, if you want to disable the new tab page and want your company website or any blog page, then you can easily customize using the Home page tab under Microsoft Edge Settings.
Here are the steps to change the Home icon homepage URL in Microsoft Edge for Android:
1. Launch Microsoft Edge on Android.
2. Tap on 3 dots menu for options.
3. Choose the Settings menu from the list.
4. Select the Home page tab from the available menu options.
5. Switch the Radio button to A Specific page.
6. Enter the URL that you want to set as a homepage. ex: https://browserhow.com
7. Hit on the Save button.
The home icon URL is now successfully changed. Now whenever you tap on the Home page icon, it will take you the website URL entered at step #7.
In case, if you want to switch back to the new tab, then you can change the radio button back to New tab page.
