August 5th is not only Freedom Day - coined by Simon Leung -it is also Groove's official holiday.
Known as Freedom Day, this date is significant to the birth of Groove, which is the partner of GrooveAsia.
Leading the way 20 years ago, Mike Filsaime - founder of Groove - launched into full-time Internet entrepreneurship on August 5th, 2004.
15 years later, Groove Digital incorporated on August 5th, 2019, and the Groove movement was born.
The following year, Donna Fox - CMO at Groove - proclaimed that August 5th would be Groove's official holiday, and we have been celebrating every year since.
And on this special 5th anniversary since that historic announcement, we celebrate YOU.
Hosted by Simon Leung, who also launched his own Freedom Day on August 5th, 2006, this is an event celebration not to be missed.
