2020 is more than pandemics and murder hornets. It's Twitter hacks, malware-laden SDKs, and countless other ways that your users' privacy and security are under attack.
In this presentation, we will explore how your app can defend your users from those attacks, so that your app and its data do not contribute to your users' problems. Some of the defenses will be lightweight things that any app developer can do, such as auditing your app and being careful about scripting. Others will target apps with high-value data or high-risk users, where extra measures may be warranted, such as additional levels of authentication and encryption. Attendees will come away with a list of things to consider integrating into regular development processes.
Note: this presentation is targeting developers with prior Android experience. Also, this presentation is strictly BYOMH (Bring Your Own Murder Hornet), though this is not required.
