How to Enable / Disable WATER LOCK on Samsung Galaxy Watch 6
In this video I'll show you how to turn on and off the Water Lock feature on Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 series.
The Water Lock mode on the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 is a feature that prevents water from entering the watch's buttons and speakers. It does this by disabling the touchscreen and preventing accidental inputs. It also vibrates when you tap the screen, so you know that it is activated.
Here are some of the reasons why you should activate Water Lock mode on your Samsung Galaxy Watch 6:
When you are swimming or taking a shower. This will prevent water from entering the buttons and speakers, which could damage the watch.
After you have been in the water. Even if you are not swimming or taking a shower, it is a good idea to activate Water Lock mode after you have been in the water. This will help to remove any water that may have gotten into the watch.
If you accidentally get your watch wet. If you accidentally get your watch wet, such as if it rains or you spill water on it, you should activate Water Lock mode as soon as possible. This will help to prevent water damage.
To activate Water Lock mode on your Samsung Galaxy Watch 6, follow these steps:
1.Open the Quick settings panel by swiping down from the top of the screen.
2.Tap the Water lock icon.
3.The watch will vibrate and the touchscreen will be disabled.
