Modern spearheads of Acid House, DJ and production duo Posthuman share ‘The Depth’ EP on There Is Love In You. Fresh off records Tusk Wax, Craigie Knowes & Dixon Avenue Basement Jams, this groove ridden outing blends scorching Acid basslines with infectious vocal hooks, delving deep into electronic goodness.
Lead track ‘Chevrolet’ featuring London based vocalist Josh Caffé sets the vibe perfectly. Catchy vocals meet crunchy drum sequences and playful pad patterns, luring the listener in. A2’s ‘The Depth’ unleashes face melting acid basslines, accompanied by classic 808 drum sounds, creating the perfect dancefloor weapon. ‘Jupiter Traxx’ takes the EP in a different direction, broken percussion meets eerie vocals and soothing keyboard stabs. ‘My House My Rules’ is a classic drum track, slowly building, until the introduction of robotic-esque vocal melodies meet dreamy synth lines, the perfect outro.
