8K Our 6 Cameras Setup for Filming Scenic Drives during Road Trip to Columbia River Gorge, 2022
In this video, I would like to show you our setup for filming scenic drives on our way to Columbia River Gorge in the summer of 2022.
As you can see, we are using 4 GoPro cameras to be able to shoot from 4 sides. On the front and back we used GoPro 9 (to shoot in 5K 30 fps) and on the sides we used GoPro 10 (to shoot 4K 120fps, to be able to make slow motion videos later). Each of these 4 GoPros has 1/2 and 1/4 diffusion filter (to add some cinematic look to the video).
On the front camera I also used for the first time DeadCats and sponge to block some wind (to have a chance to record some sound). We will see how it works.
We also used 1 more GoPro 10 inside the car and Insta360 (for 5,7 video).
Totally we are using 6 cameras to film scenic roads, and it takes some time to prepare our van for the trip.
