Did you know computers are capable of predicting how you feel from a picture?
There are AI algorithms that can detect whether you are happy, sad, excited etc. And guess what? With Google's Vision library, you can implement this with 32 lines of Python code.
There are some limitations to this method though, namely:
1. It can only detect 3 emotions: happy, sad and surprised
2. You can't "add on to" the library to make it more accurate, since Google pre-trains the vectors themselves
If you want a more flexible program you'll have to build your own model from scratch which is a lot more involved
Computer vision is a super fascinating field, and what boggles my mind is how accessible all of this technology really is. 32 lines of code really isn't much at all
