The enemy of faith is not doubt; it is disbelief, it is leaving the brain in the baptistery; refusing to think. 'Loving God with all your mind' entails regaining common sense and losing the fear of broadening the mind. The Lord does not mind when we go before Him with doubts. God does not want us to worship Him in ignorance; He wants us to know why we worship Him. Faithfulness to the Lord is not doing things out of habit, nor of defending doctrine. Faithfulness is having the courage to be able to rethink and be self-critical, so that our mind remains open and teachable. A challenging message!
