Today I'm going live to start learning a new programming language. I will be using Exercism to go through some coding exercises as I find the best way to learn is to get hands on. My top ways to learn are:
1. Small practical examples to get familiar with the syntax. Exercism is a good free tool to help with this: https://exercism.org/dashboard
2. Small projects targeting common practical skills such as creating and callling an API. I recommend browsing job listings to see what skills are most marketable if you are short on ideas of valid things to learn.
