amdkmdag.sys is the AMD Graphics driver file. It means the error has occurred because the driver is not working or it has been corrupted.
The error is commonly accompanied by DRIVER IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL, VIDEO TDR FAILURE, PAGE FAULT IN NONPAGED AREA, and System Thread exception not handled.

So, you need to clean install the AMD Graphics driver. But before this, you will have to clean the existing driver files.

• This will download the AMD Cleanup Utility for Windows.
• Once completed, go to the Downloads folder.
• Right click on amdcleanuputility.exe.
• Select Run as administrator.
• Click Yes to reboot the system and run AMD Cleanup Utility in safe mode.
• Click OK.
• A banner will be displayed while the cleanup process is running in the background. It is normal for the display to flicker or go blank momentarily during this stage.
• A prompt appears when AMD Cleanup Utility has successfully completed. Click Finish to close.
• Click Yes to reboot the computer.
• After rebooting, open a browser and go to the link:

• This will take you to AMD Driver’s list.
• Search for the latest AMD driver and download it.
• After downloading is completed, right click on the exe file. Select Open.
• Wait for installing.
• If any problems occur when installing, click on Search.
• Type MSConfig.
• Press Enter.
• Go to the Services tab.
• Click on it.
• Check the box for Hide all Microsoft Services.
• Click on Disable all.
• Now, click on the Startup tab.
• Click on Open Task Manager.
• Find the enabled startup programs.
• Right click on this and select Disable.
• Repeat the same with all Startup programs.
• Then, again, go to the Downloads folder.
• Open the AMD driver and wait a while.
• After the installation is completed, the error will be solved.
