Three MiGs Killed by a Single MIssile - Myth or Reality?
In 1981, an Iranian F-14 Tomcat crew claimed shooting down three Iraqi MiG-23s flying in close formation with a single AIM-54 Phoenix missile. This story is very much accepted in aviation media.
