Check Windows Attack Surface Reduction (ASR) enablement
This is a video run through of my free PowerShell script found at:

that will report the status of the Windows Attack Surface Reduction rules (ASR) on a Windows device. You'll need to run the script as an administrator.
The Script also has links to further documentation on what ASR is and how to enable it.
