Aerosoft Airbus A318/319 Tutorial - How to set up Connected Flight Deck FSX | Steam
Welcome to this video where we explain and show how to setup the Connected Flight Deck feature of the Aerosoft Airbus A318/319.
In this video we use FSX Steam edition. The Connected Flightdeck feature does not use the inbuilt Microsoft shared cockpit feature, instead using it's own
The video covers the full methods we used before and after Aerosoft's service pack 3 Hotfix 1.30e
There are a number of criteria which need to be matched before getting a good connection. Both users need:
1. The same aircraft, service pack and hotfix.
2. For the MCDU to work correctly (if at all) the 2 systems must have the same Airac installed.
3. The aircraft must be loaded in the exact same state (switches etc.) and be at the same location before trying to connect.
The easiest way to achieve the same state is for both users to start their aircraft cold and dark and then just to switch batteries only on to then get access to the right hand MCDU to connect.
