[ENG/ID] HOW TO MAKE "SEMPOL AYAM"; INDONESIAN SNACK, CHICKEN SKEWERS SAUSAGES.
Hello, foodaholic! Today I’m going to show you how to make Indonesian snack, chicken skewer sausage. This is a famous Indonesian food, called, in Bahasa, "Sempol Ayam". Wondering about the taste of this superb sempol ayam? Let's make it and you'll be impressed of how good this snack can be!
You’re going to need:
For the sempol:
250 ml of boneless skinless chicken breaast
20 ml of water
1 egg
Fried onion
3 cloves of garlic
1 medium sized of shredded carrot
6 cups of tapioca powder + 3 cups of all purpose flour
(if you use corn starch: 4 cups of corn starch, 5 cups of all purpose flour)
1/2 tbsp of salt
½ tsp of pepper
½ tsp of corriander powder
1 beaten egg to coat (optional)
For the sauce
1 chopped onion
1 chopped garlic
¼ cup carrot
¼ cup yellow bell pepper
1 tbsp vinegar
1 cup of water
Mixture of corn starch and water (1 tbsp + ½ cup of water) as a thickening agent.
