Cannibal Corpse - Gutted - Guitar Cover (+Tabs)
This month marks yet another 30th anniversary, this time Cannibal Corpse's second release: Butchered at Birth. I find this record to be a lot more technical that the previous one, and the more I listened to it, the more it grew on me as my second favourite.
Once again, I tracked both Bob and Jack’s parts (right and left channels respectively). I used AXP’s Flextron plugin, which emulates the Ampeg VH-140c that was apparently the amp they used during the recording, and a little post-EQ to try to replicate the very scooped sound.
