How to add a header or footer to your Google Doc

In this tutorial, you'll learn how to add, remove, and change the header and footer in Google Docs. Headers and footers are useful for adding important information, such as page numbers or a company logo, to the top or bottom of your document.

To add a header or footer, simply double-click on the margin at the top or bottom of your page. Alternatively, you can click "Insert" at the top of the page, then select "Headers & footers" and choose "Header" or "Footer". This will bring up a new text box where you can type in your desired header or footer information.

If you want to remove the header or footer, simply double-click on it and press the "Delete" or "Backspace" key. To change the header or footer margins, click on "File" and select "Page setup". From there, you can adjust the header and footer margins to your liking.
