We also highlight the new open beta for Splitgate, a new free-to-play game that is now available on console & PC with cross-play. This is a new exciting game that has evolved from its previous version. This new FPS game is very fast paced and could be the next big game if it builds in popularity. Splitgate is a free-to-play, fast-paced multiplayer shooter that features player-controlled portals. This sci-fi shooter takes the FPS genre to a new dimension with its portal mechanics, delivering high-flying, multi-dimensional combat. IGN describes Splitgate as “Halo meets Portal."
Originally this game was meant to launch on July 27th, but the full release has been delayed until August. Another open-beta will replace the previous launch date. This new update has brought a lot of new content to Splitgate and has also fixed a lot of the server issues Splitgate previously had.
