How To Tell If Your Baby Budgie is a Male or Female
Baby Budgies | How to tell if your baby budgie is male or female can be confusing. We'll look no further, I am here to show you how to tell if male or female.
What's a cere? The cere is where the nostrils are on a budgie. Juvenile female Budgies will have a white ring around the nostrils and the cere will be light blue to white. It will turn tan and then brown when in breeding season.
Males will have pinkish to purplish Ceres when young and some mutations stay that color the rest of their life depending on mutation. The Cere will turn blue in other mutation such as the normal green, and blue budgies etc.
