So, we’ve been getting a lot of news and rumors about the DCU lately, but one thing we haven’t heard anything about has been the Teen Titans. Rumors have been circulating for years but nothing official, and that feels like a bit of a waste.
The Teen Titans are one of DC’s most premiere teams, not just because of the huge success of the 2003 show but also just for the history of DC Comics, with their stories sparking a whole new generation of character driven storytelling for the company. They didn’t get much love in the last universe, and I think this reboot would be the perfect opportunity to bring the Titans back to the big screen. To see characters like Robin, Starfire, Beast Boy, Cyborg, and Raven along with others like Roy Harper as Speedy, Donna Troy, Garth, and Wally West?
And so how can we introduce this team and these characters into the movies and this world, while still honoring their history and ideas that makes their stories so special?
