Hello, and welcome to the Postcards app tutorial video. In this tutorial, I will demonstrate how effortless it is to import your email templates into your SendGrid account. Let's get started.
Firstly, I'll open the newsletter I am working on by double-clicking on it. Once it's open, I'll customize it according to my requirements. After customization, I will hover over the export option located at the top right and click on it. Following this, I will click on the integrations option. A pop-up window will appear, displaying a variety of one-click integration options.
For this tutorial, I'll select SendGrid. Upon doing so, another pop-up window will prompt me to insert my API key. The term "API key" here is actually a hyperlink that directs us to the API section within our SendGrid account, simplifying the process of creating an API key. In the API section, I'll click on 'Create API Key', provide a name for the key - I chose 'Postcards API', set the required permissions, and then proceed to 'Create & View'. Voila! The API key is generated. I'll copy this key and return to the Postcards app.
Back in the app, I'll paste the copied API key into the designated section. There's an option to give this integration a name, but I'll skip it and click on 'Connect'. Our connection is successfully established and the template is imported into the SendGrid account. A hyperlink is available which directs us to the templates section within the SendGrid account, showcasing the imported newsletter. I'll preview it and as seen, it mirrors the design created within the Postcards app.
