With this video I'll take about four minutes to configure the new access point using the Cisco Business Mobile App on my Android phone as the new Master AP in my new garagenet network. The app is also available for IOS and that'll be coming in a subsequent video. The app also offers management and monitoring for the access point and its associated networks (WLAN and RLAN, since the device offers hardwired ports.)
The access point can also be managed using an onboard web GUI and via Cisco FindIT running locally or on AWS.
As a note, it takes longer for the CBW145AC to actually boot up (about six minutes) as it does to run through this initial configuration. Once configured, it takes around six minutes again to reboot, at which time 'garagenet' will be available!
There is one cut in the video of a few seconds when Marvin the mini dachshund attempted to interject a comment. That's the way it is working at home these days!
