Sunday's chase from Tucson to west of Phoenix was a blast. It started off with an INTENSE microburst over Tucson, part of a series of them that even went tornado warned a couple times. I've never been stuck in a microburst like that before in Arizona, even ended up with a bunch of new small hail dents! In Arizona!
Raced north to get in front of what would shortly become a haboob and then once I lost the light, I made my move towards Buckeye for late night lightning and wasn't disappointed.
