On the 13 May 2024 I was privileged to fly the Rather Rare G-VYGK Airbus Airtanker A330-300 with Jet2 back from Tenerife to Manchester Airport. I was only able to fly this due to one of the other Jet2 Airtankers being in maintenance and this was almost a rescue aircraft.
The reason for the complete white livery, or "Polar Bear Scheme" is because Airtanker at Brize Norton have not had time to paint the Aircraft in the Fancy red Jet2 Icon stickers.
This Aircraft is now back at the R.A.F and G-VYGL is back at Manchester.
