SHOGUN Episode 8 Ending Explained
I review, breakdown and explain Shogun episode 8 on FX. I discuss the story which is set in 1600 in Japan as John Blackthorne arrived there. I react to Hiromatsu’s death, Toranaga’s secret plan, Mariko’s task in Osaka, and John Blackthorne siding with Yabushige and the aftermath of Nagakado’s death. I compare the story to the real events with Ieyasu Tokugawa and William Adams. I also give my theories and predictions on episode 9 which is titled Crimson Sky.
