Bird photography - AI Image sharpening and upscaling works like a magic !
Just testing the possibilities of AI image sharpening.
Original images have been taken by myself with following setup:
Fuji XT-4
Fujinon XC50-230 mmf4.5-6.7 OIS II schwarz
Video has following sequence:
1) Original image
2) AI sharpening (application 1)
3) AI upscaling (application 2)
4) Back to Original image, to reveal the impact of the sharpening and scaling
Only free applications have been used in this process.
In my point of view, the results are surprisingly good. The only problem when using AI in the process, is the fact that AI uses some creativity in the process. This is not a major issue with bird photography though, unless you are a purist.
