Easy Home Brewing - By the Seat of your Pants
Once you have a grasp on certain brewing parameters, it's nice to just dig out some ingredients and throw together a beer that is truly YOURS. I did this a while back with what is now known as the CraigTube Porter, which did pretty good in the 2014 SJporr beer challenge, considering it was just a "fly by the seat of your pants" brew. Just like cooking, brewing can be an extremely creative art. Following a recipe to create a certain style is fun, but so is creating your own style. Grains, extracts, hops and yeast will make beer.
