In 1873, when the Black Paintings had not yet been removed from the walls of the "Quinta del Sordo", a photographer managed to capture how this piece originally looked. This image was groundbreaking. Finally, thanks to it, we could understand what the dog was seeing... or could we? I’m not entirely convinced.
