INSTALLING NODE.JS AND NPM
To install node.js and npm on OS X: run "brew install node" on the terminal (...if you have homebrew set up! if you don't know what that is, use the installer from https://nodejs.org/en/download/. I recommend the homebrew version if you use the command line at all.)
To install node.js and npm on Windows: Download the windows installer from https://nodejs.org/en/download/
