Quicktech i-42 Ultimate 10-Axis Twin Spindle Lathe with Dual B Axes
QuickTECH’s i-42 and i-60 Ultimate twin spindle CNC machine tools are compact, high precision, high production CNC mill/turn centers with unique bar processing capabilities and complete parts machining including all complex milling functions.
While most twin turret machines have 24 tools and no B axis, these machines are equipped with 10 axes, 2 turning spindles, 2 milling spindles with full 360 degree B axes, and 2 tool posts totaling 49 tools (56 optional). Each spindle is served by a 4 axis gang tooling system consisting of X, Y and Z linear axes and full 360° B axes.
The main spindle tool post features 6 O.D. and 5 I.D. turning tools plus 12 live tools mounted in a continuous 360 degree B axis. The sub spindle tool post features 5 O.D. and 9 I.D. turning tools plus 12 live tools which are mounted in a continuous 360° B axis. QuickTECH’s Ultimate machines are offered in 42mm and 60mm bar capacities. The sub-spindle has 30mm bar capacity on both models.
