In terms of meta, we're seeing: popular supports are becoming more and more aggressive and increasingly more responsible to achieve a lot throughout the laning, mid and late-game. Heroes like Witch Doctor and Venomancer are on the hook to be able to kill early with aggressive carries like Chaos Knight and Weaver but also to be able to farm for large items like Guardian Greaves or Pipe of Insight. Other heroes, like Clockwerk and Treant Protector are versatile in their pick-ups and their latest changes has only made their goals easier to achieve, whether in ganks or harassment during the laning stage.
