Among the first students to take the school's new communications technologies course, years later he has seen his passion pay off.
Drake won best cinematographer at the 42nd annual Alberta Film and Television Awards in Calgary on May 7 for his work on the film Metanoia, by Leftside Pictures and directed by Levi Holwell.
