Shihad New Zealand 30th Anniversary Tour
Now, to celebrate 30 years of Shihad, the band are undertaking a New Zealand national tour which coincides with the release their classic album The General Electric on vinyl for the first time (celebrating twenty years since its release)! The General Electric was the LP that re-established Shihad's position as sonic giants of the music industry, with hit singles 'My Mind's Sedate', 'The General Electric' and 'Pacifier'.
As special guests for the shows in Hamilton, Auckland and Mt Maunganui, Aotearoa freak-funk stompers Kora will warm up the joint with their infamously electric live show. Comprising literal brothers Fran, Stu and Brad Kora plus spiritual brothers Richie Allan and Dan McGruer, Kora have been finessing their inimitable heavy soul sound over the past 15 years, amassing multiple platinum certifications and #1s along the way.
