Check engine light came on in my 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT. Scanned it with OBD, came back with the common P0456 code. With P0456 you always start by checking the gas cap. If it's not that, the vapor canister purge valve might be the candidate. Easy cheap part to replace.
For the 2013 Elantra, part number is PV648. Here's the part I purchased on RockAuto https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo....
After 1,000 miles, the check engine line has not come back on, so I can safely assume the purge valve replacement fixed the problem.
